      Is the Niche the Edge of Possible Refers to, the Same as a Marketing or Customer Niche?

      No, but it has similar origins. The niche referred to in the edge of possible directly relates to ecological niche. Your niche is your ‘nest’. The place you have comfort agency control and certainty. You niche is the routines that you typically operate within every day. We use the terminology of niche rather than comfort zone as we can then learning from ecology about niche construction and adaption.

      The fundamental difference is that in marketing you cannot change your customer’s niche. In this science based understanding of niche, it can be possible when the conditions are right.
